Hell, even I’m guilty of over saturating my twitter feed with social media tweets. I’ve always tried to be fairly grounded and transparent about my knowledge of social media marketing. Some simply only want to follow and be followed by a select group of individuals and keep their Twitter streams clean.

I've got to believe that anyone with a background like his would still see the value in old media, and realize that not all marketing campaigns ROI relate directly to sales and in fact larger issues.
