Storify is a platform that allows you to curate content from other social networks - videos, tweets, blog posts, etc. In the "what took them so long" category, Amazon will acquire the social reading site Goodreads. Big Data is not a cure-all. and may very well point to the future of content.

Last week Twitter gave us their Top Twitter Trends of 2009 for categories like news events, people, movies, etc. Data like this is interesting to check out, and it can provide useful insights for marketers and content producers in getting a better understanding of user interest and activities in both search and social media.

Despite the fact that Facebook has the most customizable privacy settings of all social networks (though we could argue with their effectiveness in a whole other post), people don’t like maintaining a “business&# identity on the same profile as their “personal&# (fun?) People use both networks as a free-for-all.

Many people found the research interesting, but a number of people commented that the social networks probably shouldn’t be grouped together. So the question arose – was social media traffic misrepresented by grouping traffic from all networks together? However, bounce rate data for StumbleUpon is misleading.
