It’s crazy to say because Facebook has a reputation as a dying platform. There are more than 3 Billion monthly active users now. The percentage of Daily to Monthly Active Users is now at 69 Percent. In other words, of the 3 Billion monthly active users, about 69% are on the app on any given day. And here we are.

Extracurricular programs combine summer programs, vacations, and related activities. The Irony: MySpace Okay, so in my previous paragraph, I mention that you should be an early adopter of social networks. Below, the pie graph: Quite honestly, I don’t feel that I’ve lost out by not taking MySpace more seriously.

Social media is about helping one another and building real strong friendships, usually around a certain interest or activity. If my actively engaged social media colleague James posts a photo of his young son Harold on his Facebook page, James might expect comments by me and other peers who may not know the mother of that child.

Sometimes they require you to log in during your interview so they can see your profile and be sure you aren’t a hazard to the corporate reputation or a spy for competitors. Sears for example “allows” job applicants to log into their jobs page with Facebook, Myspace or Linkedin, just to make it convenient for you.

In a long-ago interview with Wired , Professor & Author Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi defined a person being in the “Flow” as Being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. If you want to get better at using social media, try to channel how you behave at your “social peak” into your social media activities. Time flies.
