There are tons of blogs in the marketing space that cover news far better than I could. Do you see the RSS section in the top of the right sidebar here? It’s fairly obvious that I write very long, in-depth posts so those help me to stand out in the internet marketing space as that’s quite rare.

What a conversion actually is varies from site to site, but for me, my conversions were product purchases and RSS subscriptions. I also put prominent RSS hints on popular pages such as the blogs list. Now that I’m using netvibes this is no longer the case (thanks Glen). But, I loved what I did, so I just kept going.

For example, this site is “trying&# to rank for the phrase viral marketing. Leave Blog Comments Most blog comments are nofollowed (this means search engines aren’t supposed to give weight to the link, though I believe Yahoo and Bing still do) so they don’t provide much link juice directly. But why point it out?
