Twitter as a feed reader (for more important feeds). I subscribe to nearly 150 feeds and have no systematic way of reading them ( unlike Robert Scoble ). Sometimes, I’ll read the noisier (and most frequently updated) feeds first so I can tune into the more important feeds later. Your mileage may vary.

Right now, you’ll find the likes of Tamar , Jonathan , Lisa and Rebecca in my feed reader, and consequently, in that box. Take my own situation as an example.

Imagine receiving over 500 updates a day and not checking your feed reader (or your FriendFeed) in 2 days.

Take my husband’s grandfather as an example. These examples above illustrate a typical usability question faced by Facebook users (well, except for Grandpa). A few weeks ago, jwz posted a great piece on how to access Facebook via a feed reader. There really aren’t 350 million members on Facebook.
