If I owned the site, I would do basic things such as: Reverse the order of the phrases in the title tag Remove the site name from the heading on the site Show more of their blog posts on the homepage Remove the default Wordpress links from the sidebar These changes, with a few quality links, would help push them up the rankings.

The solution I implemented on PluginID (which made between $200-$300 per month) was by using the OIOPublisher plugin (paid – not an affiliate link) for Wordpress. It’s completely up to you whether to show advertisers this, and either way you can still see the statistics from your Wordpress Dashboard. Any advice would help.

Research other fan pages to see what those Facebook users are not getting elsewhere and give it to them. It shouldn’t take too long to monitor the streams via a search tool to find the people who talk about things that are interesting to you. In the article they say they’ve had 60 manual penalties removed by not actually removing any links and just using the disavow tool. I do believe there is a right way to do things when it comes to building a network, like actually making the sites you build attractive and useful, meaning no default WordPress theme and no-spun content.

To do this, I use the Google external keyword tool. The tool gives you a good idea of how many people are searching for X ( X being anything) in Google. I then either use a CMS like Wordpress to build my site or build a simple 5-10 page static site in HTML. As always, I’ll answer them all!
