During my career , I have worked for a couple of big Fortune 500 telecom companies and the challenge was always working to balance the wants and needs of the customer with the wants and needs of the shareholders. Social media companies, like Facebook, who choose to trade on the exchanges are going to have to walk a fine line between serving their members and their shareholders.
