Just imagine if you could easily see when people are talking about your blog, your name, your products or anything else you want to track – all via your Wordpress Dashboard. For now you can only install the plugin by uploading the folder to your server via FTP but I will be adding it to the Wordpress Plugin depository shortly.

Even though much of the conversation that used to happen in blog comments now takes place on social media, commenting on other people’s blogs can still be effective in the early days of a blog. In fact, low comment numbers can actually help you because your comment will stand out more.

One of the neat aspects about WordPress is nobody owns it. With more than 1,300 themes and over 13,000 plugins , the appearance and functionality of any WordPress blog is up to the blog owner’s imagination. When you add a comment and John replies to you, a plugin emails you that comment. Want to see the map ?

Links can do this regardless of whether or not they contain the “nofollow” attribute, contain redirects, come from a site with a high PageRank , and so on. Note that the comments also need to be recent.). Comment on blogs. Blog commenting is powerful for a variety of reasons beyond just link building.

We allow links in the comments, but we nofollow them so no link juice escapes. As the search engines get smarter, and the value of comment links, forum links, and social media links drops, the value of in-content links (i.e. Excellent question! We’ll put the odd blog in our blogroll, if we even have one.
