I’m also checking email a lot less as I can see if there are any notifications right in front of me. The Twitter integration in Netvibes actually includes the very same functionality of Tweetdeck. I do something similar to you, I use Tweetdeck and Google Reader alongside with Google Alerts. All the best in 2010!
