Before you go looking for the templates I use for my landing pages, also understand I have a really great designer who just happens to be ShortStack’s designer. It does require a different type of coding skill (if you are used to just modifying templates with PHP, you will also have to learn the hooks system). If you don’t want to change the backend though, you can simply use a widget for your category dropdown and change the name to topics, that way it displays on the sidebar as such.

Speaking of clever, the next one is Clever Widgets. This is something I remember I’m sure I’ve asked Mario before, I’m just like, “Mario, I wanna put this widget in this area but I only want it to show when people are looking at this category. What I’m really asking for is conditional widgets. How do we do that?”.
