I scan 275 RSS feeds in Google Reader and I use dozens of bookmarklets and shortcuts to help me manage it all. Note that the Google Toolbar automatically inserts the source URL. By using their bookmarklet or Chrome plugin, you can save social profiles to Archively and it will pull pertinent information about the user that it can find (for example, in the image below, it found a lot of social profiles!).
