Plurk introduced a comment system which helps create a conversational feel. There’s been much talk about people gaming the system and worrying about their karma, thus plurking about them losing (or gaining) karma points. All this communication and web socializing takes too much time (even if it is fun). Thank you for that!

This is no less true for the world of social networks. Networks like Digg, FriendFeed, and Facebook are seeing huge growths in value, but the little guys, the ones actually providing the meat and potatoes for those operations, rarely see a nickel. There have also been doctors that have used social networking tools, like Twitter, during surgery. When I was having some issues adding the commenting system to my web site, I was able to quickly get a response from the JS-Kit team and their users. It also allows you to share your bookmarks on other social networking sites.

Your suggestions are great for newcomers to the social media field, but what do you do when experienced users try to use their expertise to take advantage of the system? The key here is making the mechanics of the social networks transparent. Social networks like Digg are open source???
