Mir has also beautifully addressed on the community aspects of drupal and using Drupal as a CMS for websites. Today Noel, a renowned Drupaler rejoices when he meets fellow folks from the community. I believe in the principle of sharing information. Noel also addressed the value of tools like Twitter, Paypal and some more.

Most of the people reading this sentence have an account (whether used actively or inactively) on Twitter, Facebook, Google, or another online media platform. Wouldn’t it be something if you can tag your Facebook friends in a comment and enable those friends to receive notifications to come here and read and respond? Try it out.

Facebook, of course. Ironically, Facebook itself started as humble website. Track things like audience/community sentiment (positive/negative) if you want to map effort to results. Facebook and/or MySpace are useful social networks where you can build outposts (see next list). Get a Wordpress.com account for its OpenID benefits. Build RSS outposts on Facebook. Don’t forget podcasts.
