I'm not sure you can separate content from community anymore, as Google seems to be looking more and more at engagement (comments, linkbacks, time on site) to determine the value of content. Metrics would include the number of times a post is mentioned in other blogs or media, references, RT's, etc. Very helpful post, Jay.
