It works really well integrating with Google Adsense , Feedburner for RSS tracking, and a few other Google features (including any Google Gadget, as I mentioned above), but some obvious Google products have not been integrated. The transition from custom Wordpress to Blogger is horrible for SEO! I'll share more on that later.

Permalinks – By default WordPress numbers all posts so your links looks like this joshspeters.com/123 which isn’t very descriptive or useful for SEO. It’s incredibly versatile, has built in SEO features and a “drag and drop&# design editor. I changed the URL structure a little to make it more SEO friendly.

As a freelance writer specializing in the online marketing niche, I can say that the blogs that consistently publish longer content (900+ words) are the most successful. For example with PluginID I had huge success with guest blogging as an SEO strategy, and within just 2-3 months I was on the front page of Google for the phrase personal development. My feed jumped from 8,500 to over 11,500 according to Feedburner. At first I assumed it was a bug, but it has stayed this way for over a week so I’ll assume everything is working as it should (Feedburner usually drops, not increases). I’ll also only publish something if I’m really happy with it.
