Yelp – Perhaps a social media reach, but the fact is, Yelp has many social media aspects to their site, and I use this app quite a bit. I don’t really blog with the app, but monitoring comments is very useful on the fly. Synchs with Google Reader seamlessly, and I can easily stay up to date on my fav blogs.

In looking at recent posts of the day, most are getting more than 2,000 “likes” and a considerable number of comments: If there are 10,000 active fans daily you would think they’d all be “liking” the post of the day since that is primarily what is driving the repeat visits.
