When I was having some issues adding the commenting system to my web site, I was able to quickly get a response from the JS-Kit team and their users. You can have a create a network or a group bookmarking account so that anyone can add new bookmarks, tags to existing, and add comments. Delicious is my favorite one to use for this.

My uncle knows a young girl from his community, a recent college graduate, who is looking for a social media job. I guess it’s assumed in social spaces that when s/he initiates the friend request, you can comment on anything on their Facebook wall or tweet back at them about something personal or even comment on a photo.

Beyond learning about your users, FriendFeed allows users to comment on content within the site itself. Comments there @ FriendFeed is what’s *most* intriguing to me. What I do to filter ALL of the info, is subscribe to specifc FF feeds via Google Reader. I have my Google reader shared URL, set up as a Yahoo Alert.

Threaded Comments – one of the largest feature missing out on Twitter was the ability to actually respond to someone. Plurk introduced a comment system which helps create a conversational feel.
