The phrase is very competitive and gets around 40,000 exact searches per month in Google so I think this shows that quality content around a topic (which attracts links) is really what Google and other search engines want to provide their audience. Remain consistent, pick a popular niche, have a great looking theme, write remarkable content, and other similar advice is often thrown out there.
