Just as low-level article directories (ezinearticles, articlesbase, and others) got hurt by Google’s Panda Update in 2013, I predict that Google will hurt sites abusing guest blogging in 2013. They won’t penalize you if you enforce a natural linking policy. Automatically make all outbound links NoFollow links. What do they want?

Nofollow links to sites with which you don’t want/need to share link equity. If you have Terms of Service or Privacy Policy pages, you definitely don’t want them to rank. Search for “noindex” in the plugin directory. This site is deep, not flat. You should noindex them (which tells search engines not to include them at all).
