Facebook reports that consumers are 3 times more likely to connect their Facebook accounts on an e-commerce site, than will create a new account on those sites. While I can't dispute that good websites are falling by the wayside because of Facebook, one can't ignore the fact Facebook is a great platform to induce interaction.
