SMS other social networks are built on SMS revenues such as SMSFun. Twitter has probably done their dash with doing SMS deals by now. Collectibles buy an account and get special badges like the Pro badge above. Or Foursquare style reward badges – most retweeted, most linked. Business ones even.

And what is free stuff anyway – marketing? The other freemium services I spoke about on the podcast are Skype : free calls on mobile and on computer – but pay for voicemail and SMS. advertising? A mugs game? If you offer some services at a paid-for premium, which ones should you choose to monetize? Freemium and Growth.
