Storify – Create or find stories. Imagine that you missed a really great conference but you heard that someone ‘storified’ it. This means they went to Storify and searched through the content discussed on social media and created a summary. Storify is very easy to set up and provides a good free version!

Note that I’m not suggesting an aggregation tool. Until they get a lot more sophisticated and allow you to fine-tune the parameters, aggregation tools just add more noise and erode your users’ trust in you as the curator. Some curation tools (like List.ly) let others suggest content and allow you to act as a moderator.

This works much like the highlighting feature in Kindle…it acts more like a news curator than a compiler — and there are plenty of aggregator apps out there — but it’s a fast way to check out what others are reading, too.
