Founded by four ex-Googlers, FriendFeed allows you to subscribe to your friends’ updates across 35 social networks and to stay up to date with the content they’re discovering and sharing across the web. In fact, I argue that FriendFeed will eventually end up as one of the best research and discovery sites out there.

Many people found the research interesting, but a number of people commented that the social networks probably shouldn’t be grouped together. So the question arose – was social media traffic misrepresented by grouping traffic from all networks together? Good research, as always!

Totally connected groups are average sharers, creating as much as they can consume and using free sites to display it all. It is also an excellent source of market research which people don’t have to fill out forms to supply. I could not say what the timing was without researching the dates of the conference. On a few occasions, they also have served as focus groups providing us with valuable feedback on a number of topics.
