Content Syndication – I’ve got my content currently being syndicated on sites such as Social Media Today & Business2Community. My Alex rank continues to climb a bit as I’m dancing in the 300,000 range.

A very bad review surfaced on a major review site about one particular individual that is no longer with them. The negativity around this situation had much more to do with the individual then the organization, however now on the front page of Google, this review appears when searching for this firm.

Direct traffic and Google account for the majority of the rest. Find Linked In Groups that relate to the topic(s) you write about or provide on your site. You have to manually post to each group, so find a good core of 5-10 groups that are relevant to you or your site and request to join. Don’t get too crazy here.

I’ve found getting familiar with reporting tools such as Radian 6 and Social Radar a good start. However those can be expensive tools to get access to.
