Is Klout On The Way Out?

This morning, Klout launched a new algorithm, which has affected the scoring of Social Media users “Online Success Scores.” ” This change has caused a dramatic decrease in the Klout scores of most users and all platforms on Social Media are ablaze with discordance, confusion and anger in regard to Klout. Klout scores have dropped on average, ten points. None at all.

Up until Tuesday the only people that could comment on or like content on a Facebook page were fans of that Page. Now Facebook eliminated that requirement , allowing anyone (fans and nonfans) the ability to engage with a Facebook Page. Remain calm… Understandably, you are freaking out. According to the new Pew Internet study Social Networking Sites and our Lives there are nearly twice as many male LinkedIn users as female. What gives? So what accounts for this disparity? More males in the workforce? Do men prefer LinkedIn’s brand of simple, stripped down, business-oriented networking? In fact the male/female usage percentages are the exact opposite on Twitter.
