Needless to say that often has me frequently looking for good names to inspire me enough to go through with those ideas. I always feel like if I can actually find an affordable name, it’s more likely that I’ll see them through. Of course it goes without saying that finding a good domain name is incredibly hard these days.

While community is a hot buzz word these days, it’s still quite a ways before most businesses truly embrace the idea. Companies like Starbucks , Dell , even my previous employer Microsoft Advertising , all do community incredibly well and it has paid off for all of them many times over.

Now I’ve got my first domain and I have no idea how to use it.” Your first domain name most-likely had a.blogspot or.wordpress in it. Our community blog, our niche review site , and our Google Adsense landing page just didn’t work as planned. If so, let’s hear about it in the comments.

There are pros and cons for all of them, but it depends a lot on whether you want to spend any money, want to have your own domain name, what kind of options and functionalities you want and what kind of skills you have in doing the design and maybe programming. I will go through to most widely used blogging services.
