I’m certainly no Adsense expert, but I instantly saw ways to increase the revenue and tested different strategies over a number of weeks. Partly for minimalism and partly for SEO reasons, I think it’s better if people decide to either use categories or date based archives to organise their content, not both. I also nofollow links to pages that don’t need my link juice such as About or Contact and even things like my RSS feed.

A better long-term strategy in my opinion is to build a loyal, focused audience. Sell In-line or Text Link Ads Relying on blogging income from inline ad networks like Infolinks or text link sellers like Inlinks or Text Link Brokers is only a strategy I would recommend for blogs that don’t offer much value. Any advice would help.
