Growth Is Slowing The true size of the Twitter audience is a bit tricky to pin down because 55% of its users do so via third party and mobile applications. In true Twitter fashion, it wasn’t “rolled out” per se, it just appeared as part of the API that third parties access. Not an overwhelming participation rate.
