I promote good content. I promote new people. Devoting a mere 15-30 minutes every day to keep the content fresh and engaging should be sufficient. Topical profiles are what I’d call the new norm. I ran a sports site until just recently, and I LOVED to talk sports from that Twitter account. I promote friends.
