Since I was evacuated last night, as I listened to tsunami sirens wail, huddled in my car with blankets, pillows, dog, husband and a battery charger for phone and Ipad, the glow coming off my personal devices was my outside connection with the world. At that point, I became interested in using my iPad for close to everything, and feel madly, deeply in love with writing notes on the iPad with a stylus and the Penultimate (now owned by Evernote) and NoteShelf applications. From my vantage point, having that physical paper open on my desk - and within constant view - seems to be the best/most functional way to ensure that stuff gets done (plus, that folder is so easy and light to travel with - be it from meeting to meeting or country to country). iPad Mini - I’ve been an Apple convert for a few years now, and when I first heard about the iPad Mini, I didn’t think much of it. But the minute I held one in my hands, I knew I was ready to trade in my full size iPad. I’ve never really used my iPad as a productivity device. I use it to consume media, browse online and play games here and there. And for that, the iPad Mini delivers a much better user experience in my opinion. love that I can easily share music and playlists with friends and family. Totally worth every penny. Big mistake.
