Good uses of your outside voice: - Sharing helpful or interesting information about news, events, tips, etc. Constant republishing of others’ content (RSS feeds, quotes, etc.). It’s good to have a mix of using your outside voice to get to know new people and using your inside voice to connect one-on-one.

Serving as an Admin of a Facebook Group can be incredibly easy or a huge time commitment, depending on the size of the group and how closely the group’s content is moderated. Still, I couldn’t get out of my head the fact that I did want to hear the content presented and meet others in attendance. Indeed, there are many social media personas, such as Chris Brogan and Robert Scoble , with tens of thousands of followers who do a wonderful job of balancing broadcasting content while also managing to frequently interact many of their followers.
