Right now WordPress powers 48 of the top 100 blogs online. More than that, WordPress actually powers 19% of the web as a whole. Such a strong community of users and developers means that the platform is sure to evolve even further and provide us with lots of cool features that are yet to be developed. It was klunky, and seemed very limited compared to my self-hosted Wordpress install I had been on for years. Just last year, I was running this blog on a self-hosted Wordpress instance, the same server I was running SocialToo.com. If I wanted to accomodate my entire community, that would be another $30 per year. The Choices.

It is also great for socializing and building your own community. However, if you want to set up a business site, I suggest WordPress. You can use a hosted WordPress or a WordPress installation. This caused such an outcry by the Facebook community that several groups formed almost immediately calling for Facebook to change their terms of service back to normal. Depending on how many other people are writing in your community, you have the chance of pissing off a few people. It’s completely focused on the city and community. Concerts, Movies and Shows Many communities offer a wide variety of free entertainment through local park districts and organizations. List it on Freecycle , a nonprofit community group that encourages users to give away old items instead of throwing them away. Why pay $20 to see a Van Gogh when you can study his work for free?
