To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). I think listening with a tool like Radian 6 is step 1, monitoring with something like SM2 is step 2 and managing from one platform with two way conversation is step 3.

I love the Twitter culture and community, and I spend quite a bit of time using Twitter. Certainly, it’s not a comprehensive influence formula like Klout , or other Twitter-influence arbiters ( interesting study this week from Sysomos ), but it’s easy to calculate, and I think it makes sense.
