What about those classes that aren’t teaching social media, is there a place for social media in those classes too? How should social media fit into the world of academia? Show them how they can use their organization’s internal blogs, wiki, bookmarks, etc. Once we deployed internal blogs, a wiki, and forums, that’s when my work internally with social media really took off. I went in and created dozens of wiki pages on every social media tool I found. I blogged every chance I got.
