Choose a Profile Picture No matter what your reasons for using the service are, I believe everyone should at least take a minute to update their profile with a picture (also known as an avatar). In other words, your avatar is going to be seen in a lot of places on the service so pick something memorable.

Tagging individuals in unflattering pictures that may end up costing your friends their jobs. Add an avatar and a bio at the minimum. There’s no SEO value to these comments (they’re nofollowed by default), and all this approach does is makes you lose credibility in the eyes of the blogger. Answers Yahoo!
