I dropped some of them (such as my news roundup); for others, I took great care in inviting guest posters. Reaching out to guest posters. But I liked the diverse voices and topics that were coming to the blog.

Perhaps this is the fault of FriendFeed’s realtime feature. Often, the turning point for me on FF is when I post something and there’s no engagement, thereby reinforcing the thought that FriendFeed is a self-serving (good for FF, bad for us) platform that doesn’t ever benefit the content creator. People never see anything.
