Privacy concerns. If you are visiting, you won’t have a need for a roofer, plumber, painter, or flooring company. You would want to pay to reach only those who live in a certain area. If you cater to tourists, you likely used the “Traveling in this location” option. You have no use for locals. No one used it anyway.

It could have been for a local restaurant, something from the tourism council, a car dealership or even for a bottle of fine hooch. If they invest in technology, If they truly understand and respect their consumer (and their privacy). consumer privacy. I was driving on the highway and spotted a billboard. I can't remember.

While I imagine that this attitude makes the local board of tourism very happy, is there really any place where we can do whatever we want and be assured that no one will know about it? Regardless of your privacy settings or your own practice of sharing certain thing with friends only, there are no guarantees.

Privacy Issues on Facebook Use Lists to organize your friends in to groups. Use your Privacy Settings to adjust who can see what. Additional privacy settings are available under many of your Tabs. I have gotten very used to a certain (large) lack of privacy in most traditional senses. And head over to the nice, ad-free Here Comes the Guide site and plan your wedding in peace and privacy.
