Most of the growth did not just come from StumbleUpon but there was a huge increase in search engine traffic as well. Although the site received more traffic than last month, a lot of it was from sources like StumbleUpon which doesn’t convert very well, so the ratio of traffic to subscribers doesn’t really match up.

Personal Update I recently noticed that ViperChill was regularly being shown on the first page of Google for the phrase ‘viral marketing’ While I haven’t pushed hard to rank for this phrase, I have optimised the site around that term. For me it’s showing at #8 for Google UK. To our success in May!

Overall Traffic Visits : 19,777 Pageviews : 37,173 Avg time on Site : 3 mins 06 seconds The traffic has taken a large dip from last month, purely because StumbleUpon sent 22,000 visitors in January and just 1,600 in February. Pageviews Month 4 saw a huge amount of traffic from StumbleUpon hence the uneven growth. I don’t really rate traffic from StumbleUpon so it’s nice to see only a small portion of visitors from the site made up the 72,000 pageviews for March. You could say that we prefer signal over noise. Anyway – keep up good work!
