Facebook Reader a welcome feature

Google will soon shelve Reader and this has created a lot of panicky online noise from ardent fans. But little by little Twitter and Facebook have taken over the reader duties for me. I like that my online communities help surface the content that is most relevant to me and it seems to keep me up to date with news and events.
