The conversation primarily revolved around whether the “always on” nature of sites like Twitter require that you tweet 24 hours a day, since your followers aren’t necessarily in the same time zone. Personally, I do leverage tools like Paper.li, but as an aggregation tool, not for the purpose of filler tweets.

On top of that, by self hosting, you have the ability to create multiple sites/blogs at no additional hosting cost. The top 3 that really come to mind are LinkedIn , Foursquare and FriendFeed. Foursquare is a definite up and comer, and a phenomenal opportunity for local businesses to capitalize on the location based craze.

A simple glance would indicate that the new administration, in a push for higher perceived transparency, removed a couple thousand lines of code that were blocking the search engines from indexing all of the content on the site. This move has again damaged the ability of the site to rank.

This week, however, I want to talk about those who aggregate content from all over the web and syndicate it through their Twitter streams. They were simply aggregating content from around the web and pushing it through their Twitter stream. You get the point. They werent interacting with anyone. They werent saying anything.
