Internet Evolution has come up with their first-ever list of the top 100 most innovative and influential people in the Web 2.0 In the social networking category, Mark Zuckerberg, the Founder of Facebook , beat out Kevin Rose, the Founder of Digg. In the search category, the heads of Google , Microsoft , and Yahoo!

Plaxo: contacts, calendar and e-cards As a social network, I think Plaxo is pretty dismal, no matter how much it tries to Face-Twit-book-terify itself. Now they’re offering a direct sync with Google (beta) if you’re a premium user (read, give them money, currently just under US $60 a year). I don’t.

You can later use them as social proof, and to show your potential customers how much your current customers love you. Just take a look at what Cricket Wireless did: they gave a $25 credit for every successful referral.

Amazon is an authority even in the eyes of Google, and having your blog there gives you more exposure. So even if nobody subscribes to your blog via Kindle, you’re getting free publicity and people searching for relevant keywords will surely be tempted to take a look at your blog after seeing it listed on the largest online retailer.
