Headlines with questions are also one of the best ways to get people to leave comments on your posts.

I can not tell you how many new websites I have become a frequent reader of by clicking on the link with the commenter’s name. Asking questions of your readers is a great way to encourage comments and I do not do enough of it. I will start to do this more often. Leave a comment!

I use networking as a very broad term which chould include creating connections with bloggers, finding companies who can help you to get your offering out there and utilising other areas of social media to get eyeballs on your creation. As always I feel like you are inside my brain answering the questions I never even knew to ask!

We have reached a point in late 2010 where the work required to generate traffic for a normal blog via search engines is much greater than that required to generate an equal amount of traffic via social media. The authority that Darren has developed over the years would stay with him, even if he moved to a new domain.

They may begin to feel bad about themselves, question their ability to do the job or resent the person who delivered the news. Perhaps you have an employee who wears clothes that are too tight, one who constantly discusses a sensitive medical condition that makes other employees feel uncomfortable, or one who simply smells bad.

Get Featured in Google News I discovered this tactic when working for one of the largest newspapers in the UK as their social media manager. If you have any questions, there’s a guy named Glen who is more than happy to answer them in the comments. Question though, how long did it take you to see significant results?
