Digg has gone through some changes and it no longer really delivers the massive amounts of traffic it once did. The key to success on Digg, (and like most social media sites), is befriend the right people. Used effectively, alternate social media sites can deliver more traffic than either Facebook or Twitter. Stumbleupon is a good example.
