From the beginning (mid-2014), I’ve hosted weekly webinars for this community. I now stream those webinars directly to the private Facebook group via Facebook Live. Back in January, I wrote a blog post to explain how I stream webinars via Facebook Live using Wirecast. I loved the reminders and notifications.

Make it a virtual event. Check out YouTube’s full digital events playbook here. All notification sound effects and ringers should be turned off. Promote the event. Your live stream is a virtual event , so treat it as you would any other event. Encourage viewers to enable notifications. Provide water.
