A while back, I was looking at my Google Analytics for WUL and I noticed that my 404 page , i.e. the one you get when the server can’t find the page you’re looking for on a particular site, was the 4th most highly-trafficked page on my blog. With Google Analytics I can see if people are engaging with our blog’s content and then use that information to adapt to the preferences of site visitors. My favorite thing to do in the morning is check Google Analytics to see where our site visitors are coming from. And my guest bloggers, both frequent and infrequent.

If you see that a certain site is sending a lot of RSS subscribers, you can work to get more traffic from that source.
