Subscribe to Comments – RSS revolutionised writing content online and meant that people didn’t have to keep returning to a website in order to see if it had updated. This not only gives people a sign of what is to come but allows you to deal with marketing your new site with a break for a week or two from writing content.

My writing earned me close to $100,000 in 2009 and if you produce any form of content online, this is definitely an area you should be working on. Oftentimes I’ll have a title in mind and then simply fill out the content of the post. Quality content is a must.

That’s probably because he has hundreds of them, and all of his content is automated. Most subscribers simply don’t read the majority of their content. Would I tell a friend about the automated blogs that are filled with unreadable content and link out to thousands of other sites? They’re unremarkable.

Links from other sites to your site are basically a ‘vote’ that tell search engines you are trusted and you are a good resource for whatever your content is about. Digg lets you find news that you know hundreds of other people recommend. “Awesome&# content means a lot of different things to different people.
