A quick check has shown that I’ve been using Delicious since November 2006 , although my addiction to Google Reader means I’ve never used social bookmarking as heavily as some friends and colleagues. So you can now also find me as badgergravling on Freelish.us. than with Delicious and Diigo.

Hurley and Chen are co-founders of YouTube, which they sold to Google awhile back. So I suppose they had the money to buy the struggling social bookmarking website. Delicious is one of the early forerunners of social bookmarking. How about YouTube? Are you as excited about this news as I am?

Blogging by teens (ages 12-17) has been cut in half - from 28 percent in 2006 to 14 percent in 2009. Social networking sites (SNS). Where did they go? 73 percent of teens and 72 percent of Gen Y are now active on at least one SNS. 71 percent of young adults prefer Facebook while 66 percent of younger teens prefer Myspace.
