There's no denying that I'm a fan of Delicious - the online social bookmarking service (I Blogged about my love for Delicious back in 2007, right here: Why del.icio.us We didn't have online social networks like Twitter and Facebook to ask our "friends" questions. Has search (and this includes social search) usurped it?

Bloggers who had earned a decent or better Page Rank saw their status tank to zero once Google realized they were being being paid for certain posts by advertisers. To its credit, Google also penalized its own Japan division who used the pay per post tactic in an attempt to compete against Yahoo.

These large sites ( Google, Apple, Yahoo, Microsoft ) have complex back end programming that make the site run as expected as well as front end programming to control the incoming traffic and direct it to available servers, known as load balancing. Large popular sites are typically the victim.

Basically it lets you see which websites use the same hosting company, have the same IP addresses and use the same Google Analytics and Google Adsense tracking codes. Google Reader Subscriber Counts. In Google Reader you can see how many people are subscribing just via Google.
