If you use Twitter regularly, you’d see that it wins as a social news site that provides instantaneous news — at least of that caliber. As Chris Garrett explains in his post, if you follow numerous feed bots, you can get the news all the time. The right news will hit the front page of Digg quickly.

On the other hand, I use Flickr on a daily basis, LinkedIn, Facebook and a few golf-specific social sites a few times a week, and lately, Spock on a more than expected basis. Kirtsy and Other Niche Social Networks. Did you know there’s a social news website catered to women called Kirtsy ? Kirtsy is a social news network; there are also forums and even Yahoo! I’ve seen press releases, non-English releases, and everything else in between. Answers Yahoo!
