The easiest thing to do is to setup your keywords to be delivered via RSS to the feed reader of your choice (google reader, bloglines, etc). If you can engage them on a human level then do so, if not, move on. Following in the hopes they will follow you back and buy your stuff is not a good strategy.

Youtube is another area where you could be making a big impact, if you have some on-screen presence or know how to make engaging videos that don’t require your face to be on them. There was one available, but it hasn’t been updated since 2007 so it’s probably not worth checking out as WordPress has changed so much.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. If you’re reading this in a feed reader or inbox, thanks for subscribing! The only traffic source which dropped was StumbleUpon, so really the site is still growing nicely in channels like search and direct traffic. The time on site also increased slightly so that shows the quality of traffic was higher.

Did WordPress look ugly back then or what? I’ve recently taken advantage of the ability to have multiple sidebars throughout your WordPress website, and I really think that the result is optimal for my current situation.
